Thought for the day, Sunday 24th October

“Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Lord is God from old, Creator of the earth from end to end,
He never grows faint or weary,
His wisdom cannot be fathomed.
He gives strength to the weary, fresh vigour to the spent.
Youths may grow faint and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
But they who trust in the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not grow weary,
They shall walk and not grow faint.”
Isaiah 40:28-31
